# Trigger Drain

`POST /internal/drain`

preStop drain trigger: requires the shared DRAIN_TOKEN and a loopback
peer; idempotent. 404 on any failure (it takes the pod out of rotation, so
we don't confirm the endpoint to unauthorized callers).
