# Set current index

`POST /api/v2/indexing/set-current`

Sets a specified index as the current index.  This will be the index that will be used when calling Hawksearch search methods

## Headers

- `X-HawkSearch-ApiKey` string, required

## Request body

- IndexParams — Index params
  - `IndexName` string — Index used for operation
  - `KeepIndexTemplate` boolean — (Optional)Do not delete Index Template

## Response `200`

OK
