# Update Experian Opt-In Status

`PUT /programs/{programCode}/accounts/{accountIdentifier}/experian/optin`

Updates the opt-in status for the specified account. This endpoint allows clients to set or update whether an account is opted in to Experian services.

- ExperianUpdateOptInRequest — Represents a request to update the Experian opt-in status for a specific account. Inherits standard request metadata from Gd.Bos.DataTransfer.Request.RequestBase.
  - `optIn` boolean, required — Gets or sets a value indicating whether the account is opted in to Experian services.
