# Update Team Preferences.

`PUT /teams/{team_id}/preferences`

## Path parameters

- `team_id` string, required

## Request body

- UpdatePrefsCmd
  - `homeDashboardId` integer — The numerical :id of a favorited dashboard
  - `homeDashboardUID` string
  - `language` string
  - `navbar` NavbarPreference
    - `bookmarkUrls` string[]
  - `queryHistory` QueryHistoryPreference
    - `homeTab` string
  - `theme` 'light' | 'dark' | 'system'
  - `timezone` string — Any IANA timezone string (e.g. America/New_York), 'utc', 'browser', or empty string
  - `weekStart` string

## Response `200`

An OKResponse is returned if the request was successful.

## Other responses

- `400` — BadRequestError is returned when the request is invalid and it cannot be processed.
- `401` — UnauthorizedError is returned when the request is not authenticated.
- `500` — InternalServerError is a general error indicating something went wrong internally.
