# Delete dashboard by uid.

`DELETE /dashboards/uid/{uid}`

> **Deprecated.**

Will delete the dashboard given the specified unique identifier (uid).

Use: /apis/dashboard.grafana.app/v1/namespaces/{ns}/dashboards/{uid}

## Path parameters

- `uid` string, required

## Response `200`

(empty)

  - `message` string, required — Message Message of the deleted dashboard.
  - `title` string, required — Title Title of the deleted dashboard.
  - `uid` string, required — UID Identifier of the deleted dashboard.

## Other responses

- `401` — UnauthorizedError is returned when the request is not authenticated.
- `403` — ForbiddenError is returned if the user/token has insufficient permissions to access the requested resource.
- `404` — NotFoundError is returned when the requested resource was not found.
- `500` — InternalServerError is a general error indicating something went wrong internally.
