# RotateWorkflowWebhookSecret

`POST /gitpod.v1.WorkflowService/RotateWorkflowWebhookSecret`

Rotates the webhook secret for a workflow.

 Use this method to:
 - Generate a new webhook secret
 - Invalidate the old webhook secret

 ### Examples

 - Rotate webhook secret:

   Generates a new webhook secret for the workflow.

   ```yaml
   workflowId: "b0e12f6c-4c67-429d-a4a6-d9838b5da047"
   ```

  - `workflowId` string, uuid

## Response `200`

Success

- GitpodV1RotateWorkflowWebhookSecretResponse
  - `secret` string — The new webhook secret (decrypted)
