# RemoveTeamMember

`POST /gitpod.v1.TeamService/RemoveTeamMember`

Removes a user from a team.

 Use this method to:
 - Remove users from teams

 ### Examples

 - Remove a team member:

   ```yaml
   teamMemberId: "a1b2c3d4-5678-90ab-cdef-1234567890ab"
   ```

 ### Authorization

 Requires `teammembership:delete` permission on the team.

## Request body

  - `teamMemberId` string, uuid

## Response `200`
