# DeleteServiceAccountToken

`POST /gitpod.v1.ServiceAccountService/DeleteServiceAccountToken`

Deletes a service account token.

 Use this method to:
 - Revoke token access
 - Remove compromised tokens
 - Rotate credentials

 ### Examples

 - Delete token:

   ```yaml
   serviceAccountTokenId: "d2c94c27-3b76-4a42-b88c-95a85e392c68"
   ```

## Request body

  - `serviceAccountTokenId` string, uuid
