# ArchiveEnvironment

`POST /gitpod.v1.EnvironmentService/ArchiveEnvironment`

Archives an environment immediately.

 ### Examples

 - Archive an environment:

   ```yaml
   environmentId: "07e03a28-65a5-4d98-b532-8ea67b188048"
   ```

## Request body

- GitpodV1ArchiveEnvironmentRequest
  - `environmentId` string, uuid — environment_id specifies the environment to archive. +required

## Response `200`
