Create a commit comment

Create a comment for a commit using its :commit_sha.

This endpoint triggers notifications. Creating content too quickly using this endpoint may result in secondary rate limiting. For more information, see "Rate limits for the API" and "Best practices for using the REST API."

Path parameters

The account owner of the repository. The name is not case sensitive.

repostring required

The name of the repository without the .git extension. The name is not case sensitive.

commit_shastring required

The SHA of the commit.

Relative path of the file to comment on.

Line index in the diff to comment on.

Deprecated. Use position parameter instead. Line number in the file to comment on.
