# Get GitHub Actions permissions for an organization

`GET /orgs/{org}/actions/permissions`

Gets the GitHub Actions permissions policy for repositories and allowed actions in an organization.

You must authenticate using an access token with the `admin:org` scope to use this endpoint. GitHub Apps must have the `administration` organization permission to use this API.

- `org` string, required

Response

- ActionsOrganizationPermissions
  - `enabled_repositories` 'all' | 'none' | 'selected', required — The policy that controls the repositories in the organization that are allowed to run GitHub Actions.
  - `selected_repositories_url` string — The API URL to use to get or set the selected repositories that are allowed to run GitHub Actions, when `enabled_repositories` is set to `selected`.
  - `allowed_actions` 'all' | 'local_only' | 'selected' — The permissions policy that controls the actions that are allowed to run.
  - `selected_actions_url` string — The API URL to use to get or set the actions that are allowed to run, when `allowed_actions` is set to `selected`.
