# Ping a repository webhook

`POST /repos/{owner}/{repo}/hooks/{hook_id}/pings`

This will trigger a [ping event](https://docs.github.com/enterprise-cloud@latest/webhooks/#ping-event) to be sent to the hook.

## Path parameters

- `owner` string, required
- `repo` string, required
- `hook_id` integer, required

## Response `204`
