# Get contact counts per group (v2)

`GET /v2/groups/contact-counts`

Return the contact count for each group in one round-trip. Pass `?groupIds=a,b,c` to scope the query to specific groups; omit it to fetch counts for every group the user owns. Returns `{ data: { counts: { [groupId]: number } } }`.

## Query parameters

- `groupIds` string

## Other responses

- `400` — Request body failed validation.
- `401` — Missing or invalid API key.
- `403` — Valid key, insufficient permission.
- `404` — Resource does not exist.

- `500` — Unexpected server error.
