# Update a webhook

`PUT /webhooks/{webhookId}`

## Path parameters

- `webhookId` integer, required

## Request body

- UpdateWebhook
  - `url` string, url — URL of the webhook
  - `description` string — Description of the webhook
  - `events` string[] — - Events triggering the webhook. Possible values for **Transactional** type webhook: #### `sent` OR `request`, `delivered`, `hardBounce`, `softBounce`, `blocked`, `spam`, `invalid`, `deferred`, `click`, `opened`, `uniqueOpened` and `unsubscribed` - Possible values for **Marketing** type webhook: #### `spam`, `opened`, `click`, `hardBounce`, `softBounce`, `unsubscribed`, `listAddition` & `delivered` - Possible values for **Inbound** type webhook: #### `inboundEmailProcessed`
  - `domain` string — Inbound domain of webhook, used in case of event type `inbound`
  - `batched` boolean — To send batched webhooks
  - `auth` GetWebhookAuth — Add authentication on webhook url
    - `type` string — Type of authentication
    - `token` string — Webhook authentication token
  - `headers` GetWebhookHeaders[] — Custom headers to be send with webhooks
    - `key` string — Header key name
    - `value` string — Header value

## Response `204`

Webhook updated

- `400` — bad request
- `404` — Webhook ID not found
