# Add ACH Account

`POST /addAchAccount`

Use the Add ACH Account endpoint to add an ACH account to the specified customer account. If you are integrated with Plaid, set the RPVIR parameter to `1` to receive `plaid_identity_values` in the response. Use this endpoint to add external accounts that belong to individuals. For accounts that belong to companies, use the <a href="ref:post_addachaccountcorporate" target="_blank">Add ACH Account Corporate</a> endpoint.

  - `processing_time` number, float, nullable, required — The time elapsed in processing the transaction
  - `echo` object, nullable, required — A structure that contains transaction ID information
    - `transaction_id` string, nullable, required — An ID that represents an API transaction
    - `provider_timestamp` string, date-time, nullable, required — Store a related timestamp for reporting and troubleshooting purposes
    - `provider_transaction_id` string, nullable, required — Secondary transaction identifier (generated by a provider)
  - `system_timestamp` string, date-time, nullable, required — A system generated timestamp
  - `rtoken` string, nullable, required — A system-generated ID used for tracking
  - `errors` string[] — A list of errors generated while the request was processed
  - `response_data` object, nullable, required — A structure for the response data. It can be empty but usually will contain information.
    - `ach_account_id` string, required — A unique ID for an ACH account
    - `plaid_identity_values` object — A dictionary of values that are returned by Plaid. Set RPVIR to receive this object.
      - `emails` string[], nullable — Encrypted identity email(s) from Plaid
      - `names` string[], nullable — Encrypted identity name(s) from Plaid
      - `phones` string[], nullable — Encrypted identity phone number(s) from Plaid
      - `zip_codes` string[], nullable — Encrypted identity Zip code(s) from Plaid
