# Update direct debit mandate alias

`PUT /v1/mandates/{mandateUuid}`

This endpoint allows you to update Direct Debit Mandate Alias. You will need to enable PERM_BUSINESS_PUT_MANDATE to use this endpoint.

## Path parameters

- `mandateUuid` string, required — The uuid of the mandate to update.

## Request body

- Alias
  - `alias` string — The alias of the mandate

## Response `204`

204 no content
