# Revoke document access

`DELETE /v1beta/documents/{document_id}/share/{recipient_id}`

Revoke access from a recipient.

## Path parameters

- `document_id` string, required — Document ID.
- `recipient_id` string, required — Recipient ID (TypeID: user_xxx or bot_xxx).

## Response `200`

Success

- RevokeDocumentAccessResponse — RevokeDocumentAccessResponse contains the result of revoking access.
  - `error` string — Error message if the revocation failed.
  - `success` boolean — Whether the revocation succeeded.

## Other responses

- `400` — Invalid request parameters
- `401` — Authentication failed - missing or invalid API key
- `403` — Authorization failed - valid key but insufficient permissions
- `404` — Resource not found
- `429` — Too many requests
- `500` — Internal server error
