# Get opt-out status

`GET /v4/optouts`

Returns the opt-out suppression state for a person identified by email address. A person who is opted out will not receive campaign sends or reward awards.

## Query parameters

- `email` string

## Response `200`

- OptoutResponse
  - `email` string, required
  - `optout` boolean, required

## Other responses

- `400` — Bad Request
- `401` — Unauthorized
- `402` — Payment Required
- `403` — Forbidden
- `415` — Unsupported Media Type
- `429` — Too Many Requests
