# Stem Separation

`POST /v1/music/stem-separation`

Separate an audio file into individual stems. This endpoint might have high latency, depending on the length of the audio file.

## Query parameters

## Headers

- `xi-api-key` string, nullable — Your API key. This is required by most endpoints to access our API programmatically. You can view your xi-api-key using the 'Profile' tab on the website.

## Response `200`

ZIP archive containing separated audio stems. Each stem is provided as a separate audio file in the requested output format.

- `422` — Validation Error
