# PATCH /cameras/{cameraId}:swap

`PATCH /cameras/{cameraId}:swap`

Swap any camera with a new one.
If the device is not visible by the bridge, API is going to throw a 404 error.
If the GUID has already been attached to the account, API is going to throw a 409 error.
If the provided GUID is in wrong format, API is going to throw 400 error.

## Request body

- CameraSwap
  - `guid` string, uuid, nullable — Represents a new camera

## Response `204`

Camera swap operation success.

## Other responses

- `400` — The supplied object is invalid. Error detail will contain the validation error.
- `401` — You are not authenticated. Please authenticate and try again.
- `403` — You have no permission to access the specified resource.
- `404` — Referenced resource could not be found.
- `409` — There was a conflict while trying to perform your request. See error details for more information.
- `500` — Something went wrong in the server. Please try again.
