# Add Attachment

`POST /api/documents/{document_id}/attachments`

Add one or more attachments when creating a new invoice or credit note via POST /api/documents/

## Path parameters

- `document_id` string, required

## Response `201`

Successful Response

- DocumentAttachment
  - `file_name` string, required
  - `file_type` string
  - `file_size` integer
  - `id` string, required
  - `file_url` string, nullable

## Other responses

- `401` — Unauthorized: API key is missing, invalid, or inactive
- `404` — Not Found: Document with the specified ID doesn't exist
- `422` — Unprocessable Entity: Invalid response data
- `500` — Internal Server Error: Unexpected server error
