# Update base configuration

`PUT /settings/base-config`

Updates the base DAG configuration YAML. Validates before saving. Requires developer role or above.

## Query parameters

- `remoteNode` string

## Request body

  - `spec` string, required — The base configuration in YAML format

## Response `200`

Base configuration updated successfully

  - `errors` string[], required — List of validation warnings

## Other responses

- `400` — Invalid configuration
- `401` — Not authenticated
- `403` — Requires developer role or above
- `default` — Unexpected error
