# List compound characteristics

`GET /api/v1/pharma/characteristics`

List the pharmaceutical-compound characteristics (each scored on the −4…+4 scale) that can be used as `preferences` keys in the compound search endpoint.

## Response `200`

Available characteristics (pass-through from Moore Metrics).

- `401` — Missing, invalid, or revoked API key.
- `429` — Rate limit exceeded (100 requests/hour per key). Includes a Retry-After header.
