# Create an embed group

`POST /api/v1/embed-tenants/{embedTenantName}/groups`

## Path parameters

- `embedTenantName` string, required

## Request body

- CreateEmbedGroupInput
  - `description` string, nullable — Optional human-readable description.
  - `name` string, required — Group name, unique within the embed tenant. The `system:` prefix is reserved and rejected.
