# Update a reseller

`PATCH /v3/resellers/{id}`

Updates the specified reseller by setting the values of the parameters passed. Any parameters not provided will be left unchanged.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Request body

- ResellerUpdateRequestModel
  - `name` string, nullable — Name of the reseller. Any printable characters, including letters from any script, punctuation and emoji. Cannot contain line breaks, tabs, other control characters, invisible formatting characters (zero-width and bidirectional marks), and cannot start or end with whitespace.
  - `email` string, email, nullable — Notification email of the reseller.
  - `description` string, nullable — Description for the reseller. Any printable characters and line breaks. Cannot contain control characters other than tab, carriage return and line feed, nor invisible formatting characters (zero-width and bidirectional marks), and cannot start or end with whitespace.
  - `allowedUsers` integer, nullable — Max number of users the reseller is allowed to create. Set to -1 to allow unlimited users.
  - `allowedOrganizations` integer, nullable — Max number of organizations the reseller is allowed to create. Set to -1 to allow unlimited organizations.
  - `customAttributes` CustomAttributeValueRequestModel[], nullable — List of custom attribute name/value pairs.
    - `name` string, required — Letters (a-z, A-Z), numbers, underscores, hyphens and dots.
    - `value` string, required
