# Sends a message to selected employees or the whole company

`POST /notifications/send`

Requires the "notification.index" permission.

## Request body

- SendNotificationRequest
  - `title` string, required — Notification title
  - `body` string, required — Notification body
  - `company_wide` boolean — Send to every employee of the company
  - `employees` integer[] — Recipient employee ids (required when company_wide is false)

## Response `200`

The request was successful.

## Other responses

- `401` — The request lacks valid authentication credentials.
- `403` — The token is valid but lacks the permission for this action.
- `422` — The request was well-formed but contains semantic errors (validation failed).
- `500` — An unexpected error occurred on the server (e.g. a requested relation does not exist).
