# Return all ModSecurity configuration files

`GET /modsec_get_configs`

This function lists ModSecurity™ configuration files. The system stores the configuration
files in the `/usr/local/apache/conf/modsec_vendor_configs` directory.

**Important:**

When you disable the
[Web Server role](https://docs.cpanel.net/knowledge-base/general-systems-administration/how-to-use-server-profiles/#roles),
the system **disables** this function.

## Response `200`

HTTP Request was successful.

- object
  - `data` object
    - `configs` object[] — An array of objects containing information about ModSecurity configuration files.
      - `active` 1 | 0 — Whether the configuration file is active. * `1` — Active. * `0` — **Not** active. **Note:** The file is active if an include for the configuration file appears in the `modsec2.cpanel.conf` file.
      - `config` string — The configuration file's location, relative to the `/usr/local/apache/conf` directory.
      - `vendor_id` string — The vendor's unique short name.
  - `metadata` object
    - `command` string — The method name called.
    - `reason` string — The reason the API function failed when the `metadata.result` field is `0`. This field may display a success message when a function succeeds.
    - `result` 1 | 0 — * `1` — Success. * `0` — Failed. Check the `reason` field for more details.
    - `version` integer — The version of the API function.
