# Return AutoSSL log file's contents

`GET /get_autossl_log`

This function returns the contents of an AutoSSL log file.

## Query parameters

- `start_time` string, ISO-8601 Date Time, required

## Response `200`

HTTP Request was successful.

- object
  - `data` object
    - `payload` object[] — Entries from an AutoSSL log.
      - `contents` string — The contents of an entry.
      - `indent` integer — The level of indentation to display.
      - `partial` 0 — We do not currently use this return.
      - `pid` integer — The AutoSSL process’s ID.
      - `timestamp` string, ISO-8601 Date Time — When the system created the log file entry.
      - `type` 'out' | 'warn' | 'success' | 'failure' — The type of log file entry. * `out` (WHM's _Manage AutoSSL_ interface represents this type as `info`.) * `warn` * `success` * `failure`
  - `metadata` object
    - `command` string — The method name called.
    - `reason` string — The reason the API function failed when the `metadata.result` field is 0. This field may display a success message when a function succeeds.
    - `result` 0 | 1 — * `1` - Success * `0` - Failed: Check the reason field for more details.
    - `version` integer — The version of the API function.
