# Export DNSSEC security key

`GET /DNSSEC/export_zone_key`

This function exports a DNSSEC security key.

**Important:**

When you disable the [DNS](https://go.cpanel.net/serverroles) role, the system **disables** this function.

## Query parameters

- `domain` string, domain, required
- `key_id` integer, required

## Response `200`

HTTP Request was successful.

  - `apiversion` integer — The version of the API.
  - `func` string — The name of the method called.
  - `module` string — The name of the module called.
  - `result` object
    - `data` object
      - `domain` string, domain — The security key's domain.
      - `key_content` string — The content of the key, which includes the algorithm.
      - `key_id` integer — The security key's ID.
      - `key_tag` integer — The security key's internal identifier.
      - `key_type` 'CSK' | 'KSK' | 'ZSK' — The security key's signing type. * `CSK` - Combined Signing Key. * `KSK` - Key Signing Key. * `ZSK` - Zone Signing Key.
      - `success` 0 | 1 — Whether the function succeeded. * `1` - The function succeeded. * `0` - The function failed.
    - `errors` string[], nullable — List of errors if the API failed.
    - `messages` string[], nullable — List of messages generated by the API.
    - `metadata` object
    - `status` 0 | 1 — - 1 - Success - 0 - Failed: Check the errors field for more details.
    - `warnings` string[], nullable — List of warnings generated by the API. Warnings describe non-critical failures or other problematic conditions noted while running a API.
