# Update IP addresses in zone files

`GET /DNS/swap_ip_in_zones`

This function replaces a domain's IPv4 address in the DNS zone
file with the specified destination IPv4 address.

## Query parameters

- `dest_ip` string, ipv4, required
- `domain` string, domain, required
- `ftp_ip` string, ipv4
- `source_ip` string, ipv4

## Response `200`

HTTP Request was successful.

- object
  - `apiversion` integer — The version of the API.
  - `func` string — The name of the method called.
  - `module` string — The name of the module called.
  - `result` object
    - `data` object[] — An array of objects containing the updated DNS records, including their previous values.
      - `zone_name` string, domain — The DNS zone in which the system updated the domain's record.
      - `record_name` string, domain — The name of the domain's updated DNS record.
      - `record_type` string — The type of the DNS record which was updated.
      - `old_value` string — The value of the DNS record before it was updated.
      - `new_value` string — The value of the DNS record after it was updated.
    - `errors` string[], nullable — List of errors if the API failed.
    - `messages` string[], nullable — List of messages generated by the API.
    - `metadata` object
    - `status` 0 | 1 — * `1` - Success. * `0` - Failed. Check the `errors` field for more details.
    - `warnings` string[], nullable — List of warnings generated by the API. Warnings describe non-critical failures or other problematic conditions noted while running a API.
