# Clear the current user's backup run-state record

`GET /BackupInfo/reset`

Clears the authoritative run-state record so a sticky 'complete' stops being reported by progress. After reset, progress reflects only live state ('inprogress' while a run is genuinely active, otherwise 'none'). Idempotent - succeeds whether or not a record exists.
