# Add a category for Pack

`POST /packs/{packId}/category`

Add a publishing category for a given Pack.

## Path parameters

- `packId` integer, required

## Request body

- AddPackCategoryRequest — Payload for adding a Pack Category.
  - `categoryName` string, required — Name of the publishing category.

## Response `200`

Confirmation of successfully adding a Pack category

- AddPackCategoryResponse — Confirmation of successfully adding a Pack category.

## Other responses

- `400` — The request parameters did not conform to expectations.
- `401` — The API token is invalid or has expired.
- `403` — The API token does not grant access to this resource.
- `404` — The resource could not be located with the current API token.
- `429` — The client has sent too many requests.
