# Update the user information associated with a space

`POST /spaces/{id}/updateUsers`

Spaces are groupings of collections and datasets.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Request body

- object
  - `rolesandusers` object — A map that contains a role level as a key and a comma separated String of user IDs as the value

## Response `200`

OK

## Other responses

- `400` — rolesandusers data is missing from the updateUsers call.
- `404` — The requested resource was not found
