# Update credentialing cycle

`PATCH /credentialing-workflows/{workflowId}/credentialing-cycle`

Updates the credentialing cycle for a credentialing workflow. Valid values include INITIAL and RECREDENTIALING.

- `workflowId` string, required

- `tenant-id` string, required

## Request body

- UpdateCredentialingCycleRequest — Request to update credentialing cycle in credentialing workflow.
  - `credentialingCycle` 'INITIAL' | 'RECREDENTIALING', required
  - `reason` string — Reason for the credentialing cycle change
