# Update a phone number

`PATCH /numbers/{number}`

Update a phone number. Attach the number to a Callr Actions scenario, or change the end user.

## Path parameters

- `number` string, required — A phone number in ITU-T E.164 format https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E.164, prefixed by "+"

## Request body

- NumberUpdate
  - `scenario` string — Short ID
  - `enduser` string — Short ID

## Response `204`

Phone number updated

## Other responses

- `400` — Bad Request
- `401` — Unauthorized
- `403` — Forbidden
- `404` — Resource Not Found
- `405` — Method Not Allowed
- `429` — Too Many Requests (rate limit exceeded)
- `500` — Internal Server Error
