# Add a new member to the workspace

`POST /workspaces/{workspace_domain}/members`

## Path parameters

- `workspace_domain` string, required

## Request body

- AddWorkspaceMemberRequest
  - `admin` boolean — Whether the user has admin privileges
  - `auto_assign_to_new_projects` boolean — Whether user is automatically assigned to new projects
  - `auto_assign_permission_set_id` integer — ID of permission set to automatically assign to new projects
  - `note` string — Note for this resource
  - `agent_note` string — YAML note for AI agents operating on this resource
  - `email` string, required — The email address of the user
