# Get list of organizations

`GET /v3/partner/organizations`

Get a list of organization objects. By default, you get 20 results on one page of results. Set `max` in your request to get up to 100 results on one page.

This operation requires partner-level permissions.
* A `sessionId` header value generated with [API partner login](https://developer.bill.com/reference/partnerlogin)
* An `appKey` header value

## Query parameters

- `max` integer, nullable — Maximum number of results
- `sort` string, nullable — Field name and sort order. Both simple and compound sorting is available. The format is `sort={field_01}:{sort_order},{field_02}:{sort_order}`. **NOTE**: Sorting occurs in the specified order.
- `filters` string, nullable — Field name, operator, and value. Both simple and compound filtering is available. The format is `filters={field_01}:{op}:{value},{field_02}:{op}:{value}`.
- `page` string, nullable — Next page of results. When a list has multiple pages, the `nextPage` and `prevPage` values in the response enable you to navigate between the pages of results. Set `page` as the `nextPage` or `prevPage` value for navigation.

## Headers

- `sessionId` string, nullable — API session ID generated with `/v3/partner/login`
- `appKey` string, nullable — Application key sent to you by BILL when you create a partner account

- ListOrganizationResponseDto — Response from a list API request with paging references.

    - `id` string — BILL-generated ID of the organization. The value begins with `008`.
    - `archived` boolean — Set as `true` if the organization is archived. You cannot archive an organization with the API.

    - `phone` string — Organization phone number
    - `companyOwner` object — Company owner information
      - `name` string — Company owner name
      - `dateOfBirth` string, date — Company owner date of birth. The value is in the `yyyy-MM-dd` format.
    - `taxId` string — Organization tax ID. This value is required by the IRS for tax purposes.
    - `taxIdType` 'EIN' | 'SSN' | 'UNDEFINED' — Organization tax ID type.
    - `industry` string — Organization industry
    - `businessCategory` 'UNDEFINED' | 'CORPORATION' | 'LLC' | 'NON_PROFIT' | 'GOVERNMENT' | 'SOLE_PROPRIETOR' | 'INDIVIDUAL' | 'TRUST' | 'UNKNOWN' — Organization business category.
    - `accountType` 'BUSINESS' | 'CONTRACTOR' | 'EMPLOYEE_OR_INDIVIDUAL' | 'OTHER' | 'CONSUMER' | 'UNDEFINED' — Organization account type.
    - `processingOptions` object — Organization processing options
      - `mailingAddressSameAsPhysical` boolean — Set as `true` if the mailing address is the same as the physical address. The default value is `true`.
      - `individualTransferOut` boolean — Rule for how ACH transfers are made from the organization funding bank account to vendors. * Set as `true` for an individual ACH transfer for each payment made. * Set as `false` for a single batch ACH transfer for all payments made in a day. The default value is `false`. **Note**: You can set this field only when you update an organization (`PATCH /v3/organizations/{organizationId}`).
      - `individualTransferIn` boolean — Rule for how ACH transfers are made from customers to the organization funding bank account. * Set as `true` for an individual ACH transfer for each payment received. * Set as `false` for a single batch ACH transfer for all payments received in a day. The default value is `false`. **Note**: You can set this field only when you update an organization (`PATCH /v3/organizations/{organizationId}`).
    - `partnerName` string — Partner name. This field is available only when select BILL partners create an organization. Partner name is part of the information that BILL uses to identify partners.
    - `createdTime` string, date-time — Created date and time
    - `updatedTime` string, date-time — Updated date and time
