# Archive multiple items

`POST /v3/classifications/items/bulk/archive`

Archive multiple items with one API request. In the response, the `archived` field for each object is set as `true`.

## Query parameters

- `ids` string, required — List of BILL-generated IDs of items. Each value begins with `0ii`. Set the IDs as comma-separated values.

## Headers

- `sessionId` string, nullable — API session ID generated with `/v3/login`
- `devKey` string, nullable — Developer key generated with your BILL developer account

- ClassificationItemBulkResponseDto — Response Dto for bulk classification item.
  - `items` ClassificationItemResponseDto[] — List of items
    - `id` string — BILL-generated ID of the item. The value begins with `0ii`.
    - `type` 'UNDEFINED' | 'UNKNOWN' | 'SERVICE' | 'INVENTORY' | 'NON_INVENTORY' | 'PAYMENT' | 'DISCOUNT' | 'SALES_TAX' | 'SUBTOTAL' | 'OTHER_CHARGE' | 'INVENTORY_ASSEMBLY' | 'GROUP' | 'SALES_TAX_GROUP' | 'FIXED_ASSET' | 'CATEGORY' | 'EXPENSE' — Item type
    - `shortName` string — Item short name
    - `name` string — Item name
    - `description` string — Item description
    - `archived` boolean — Set as `true` if the item is archived
    - `parentId` string — BILL-generated ID of the parent item. You can set this field if this item is a child object.
    - `price` number — Item price
    - `expenseChartOfAccountId` string — BILL-generated ID of the chart of accounts for the item when it is used for bills or purchases in your accounting system. The value begins with `0ca`.
    - `purchaseDescription` string — Item description when it is used for bills or purchases in your accounting system
    - `purchaseCost` number — Item purchase cost set in your accounting system
    - `chartOfAccountId` string — BILL-generated ID of the chart of accounts for the item. The value begins with `0ca`.
    - `taxable` boolean — Set as `true` if the item is taxable
    - `percentage` number — Item tax percentage
    - `createdTime` string, date-time — Created date and time
    - `updatedTime` string, date-time — Updated date and time
