# Archive or unarchive a chat

`POST /v1/chats/{chatID}/archive`

Archive or unarchive a chat. Set archived=true to move to archive, archived=false to move back to inbox

## Path parameters

- `chatID` string, required — Unique identifier of the chat.

## Request body

- object
  - `archived` boolean — True to archive, false to unarchive

## Response `204`

Request executed successfully

## Other responses

- `400` — Invalid request parameters
- `401` — Access token is missing or invalid
- `403` — Access token does not have the required scope
- `404` — Resource not found
- `422` — Unprocessable entity - validation error
- `429` — Too many requests - rate limit exceeded
- `500` — Internal server error
