Real-Time Updates: Please note that data frequency intervals below 15 minutes (15min) are only supported if you are subscribed to the Professional Plan or higher.

US equity markets close at 4:00 PM EST, with trades at or after this time considered after-hours (retrievable with after_hours=true), though IEX after-hours data may be sparse, and note that intraday closing prices differ from official EOD closes, which are set via an auction process Investopedia
