# GET /api/licenses/{id}/check/

`GET /api/licenses/{id}/check/`

This endpoint checks with the authority if the license needs to be updated. It also checks if the license is operating within its limits and might take action on that. It could also happen that the license has been deleted because there is an instance id mismatch or because it's invalid. In that case a `204` status code is returned.

  - `license_id` string, required — Unique identifier of the license.
  - `is_active` boolean, required — Indicates if the backend deems the license valid.
  - `last_check` string, date-time, nullable
  - `valid_from` string, date-time, required — From which timestamp the license becomes active.
  - `valid_through` string, date-time, required — Until which timestamp the license is active.
  - `free_users_count` integer, required — The amount of free users that are currently using the license.
  - `seats_taken` integer, required — The amount of users that are currently using the license.
  - `seats` integer, required — The maximum amount of users that can use the license.
  - `application_users_taken` integer, required — The amount of application builder users used so far in this license.
  - `application_users` integer, required — The amount of application builder users permitted in this license.
  - `product_code` string, required — The product code that indicates what the license unlocks.
  - `issued_on` string, date-time, required — The date when the license was issued. It could be that a new license is issued with the same `license_id` because it was updated. In that case, the one that has been issued last should be used.
  - `issued_to_email` string, email, required — Indicates to which email address the license has been issued.
  - `issued_to_name` string, required — Indicates to whom the license has been issued.
  - `users` LicenseUser[], required
