# Create Federation Webhook Endpoint

`POST /federations/{federation_id}/webhooks`

  - `channels` Channel[], nullable — List of message channels this endpoint listens to (omit for all)
  - `description` string, nullable
  - `disabled` boolean, nullable
  - `filter_types` FilterType[], nullable
  - `metadata` object, nullable
  - `rate_limit` integer, nullable
  - `secret` string, nullable — The endpoint's verification secret. If `null` is passed, a secret is automatically generated. Format: `base64` encoded random bytes optionally prefixed with `whsec_`. Recommended size: 24.
  - `uid` string, nullable — Optional unique identifier for the endpoint
  - `url` string, uri, required
  - `version` integer, nullable
