# List processes running inside a container

`GET /containers/{id}/top`

On Unix systems, this is done by running the `ps` command. This endpoint
is not supported on Windows.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Query parameters

- `ps_args` string

## Response `200`

no error

- object — OK response to ContainerTop operation
  - `Titles` string[] — The ps column titles
  - `Processes` array[] — Each process running in the container, where each is process is an array of values corresponding to the titles.
    - string[]

## Other responses

- `404` — no such container
- `500` — server error
