# Get the list of device templates in an application with basic ODATA support (maxpagesize, filter, orderby), [more details](https://aka.ms/iotcentralodatasupport).

`GET /deviceTemplates`

## Query parameters

- `api-version` string, required
- `filter` string
- `maxpagesize` integer
- `orderby` string

## Response `200`

Success

- DeviceTemplateCollection — The paged results of device templates.
  - `value` DeviceTemplate[], required — The collection of device templates.
    - `@id` string — Unique ID of the device template.
    - `@type` string[], required — The JSON-LD types of this device template.
    - `etag` string — ETag used to prevent conflict in device template updates.
    - `displayName` string — Display name of the device template.
    - `description` string — Detailed description of the device template.
    - `capabilityModel` object, required — The capability model utilized by this device template.
  - `nextLink` string — URL to get the next page of device templates.

## Other responses
