# DELETE /v1/email/identities/{EmailIdentity}

`DELETE /v1/email/identities/{EmailIdentity}`

Deletes an email identity that you previously verified for use with Amazon Pinpoint. An identity can be either an email address or a domain name.

## Path parameters

- `EmailIdentity` string, required

## Response `200`

Success

- DeleteEmailIdentityResponse — An HTTP 200 response if the request succeeds, or an error message if the request fails.

## Other responses

- `480` — NotFoundException
- `481` — TooManyRequestsException
- `482` — BadRequestException
- `483` — ConcurrentModificationException
