# GET /indices

`GET /indices`

Lists the search indices.

Requires permission to access the [ListIndices](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/service-authorization/latest/reference/list_awsiot.html#awsiot-actions-as-permissions) action.

## Query parameters

- `nextToken` string
- `maxResults` integer

## Response `200`

Success

- ListIndicesResponse
  - `indexNames` IndexName[] — The index names.
  - `nextToken` string — The token used to get the next set of results, or <code>null</code> if there are no additional results.

## Other responses

- `480` — InvalidRequestException
- `481` — ThrottlingException
- `482` — UnauthorizedException
- `483` — ServiceUnavailableException
- `484` — InternalFailureException
