# POST /#Action=DeleteLaunchConfiguration

`POST /#Action=DeleteLaunchConfiguration`

Deletes the specified launch configuration.

The launch configuration must not be attached to an Auto Scaling group. When this call completes, the launch configuration is no longer available for use.
