Depending on your instance configuration, you may need to allow the following actions in your IAM policy: DescribeSpotInstanceRequests, DescribeInstanceCreditSpecifications, DescribeVolumes, DescribeInstanceAttribute, and DescribeElasticGpus. Or, you can allow describe* depending on your instance requirements.
