# updateShipmentSourceAddress

`PUT /inbound/fba/2024-03-20/inboundPlans/{inboundPlanId}/shipments/{shipmentId}/sourceAddress`

Updates the source address of an existing shipment. The shipment source address can only be updated prior to the confirmation of the shipment carriers. As a result of the updated source address, existing transportation options will be invalidated and will need to be regenerated to capture the potential difference in transportation options and quotes due to the new source address.

    - `companyName` string — The name of the business.
    - `countryCode` string, required — The country code in two-character ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 format.
    - `districtOrCounty` string — The district or county.
    - `email` string — The email address.
    - `name` string, required — The name of the individual who is the primary contact.
    - `phoneNumber` string, required — The phone number.
    - `postalCode` string, required — The postal code.
    - `stateOrProvinceCode` string — The state or province code.

UpdateShipmentSourceAddress 202 response

- UpdateShipmentSourceAddressResponse — The `UpdateShipmentSourceAddress` response.
  - `operationId` string, required — UUID for the given operation.

## Other responses

- `400` — Request has missing or invalid parameters and cannot be parsed.
- `403` — Indicates that access to the resource is forbidden. Possible reasons include Access Denied, Unauthorized, Expired Token, or Invalid Signature.
- `404` — The resource specified does not exist.
- `413` — The request size exceeded the maximum accepted size.
- `415` — The request payload is in an unsupported format.
- `429` — The frequency of requests was greater than allowed.
- `500` — An unexpected condition occurred that prevented the server from fulfilling the request.
- `503` — Temporary overloading or maintenance of the server.
