# Get field configuration items

`GET /rest/api/2/fieldconfiguration/{id}/fields`

Deprecated, use [ Field schemes](https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/platform/rest/v3/api-group-field-schemes/#api-group-field-schemes) which supports field association schemes.

Returns a [paginated](#pagination) list of all fields for a configuration.

Only the fields from configurations used in company-managed (classic) projects are returned.

- `startAt` integer
- `maxResults` integer

## Response `200`

Returned if the request is successful.

- PageBeanFieldConfigurationItem — A page of items.
  - `isLast` boolean — Whether this is the last page.
  - `maxResults` integer — The maximum number of items that could be returned.
  - `nextPage` string, uri — If there is another page of results, the URL of the next page.
  - `self` string, uri — The URL of the page.
  - `startAt` integer — The index of the first item returned.
  - `total` integer — The number of items returned.
  - `values` FieldConfigurationItem[] — The list of items.
    - `description` string — The description of the field within the field configuration.
    - `id` string, required — The ID of the field within the field configuration.
    - `isHidden` boolean — Whether the field is hidden in the field configuration.
    - `isRequired` boolean — Whether the field is required in the field configuration.
    - `renderer` string — The renderer type for the field within the field configuration.

## Other responses

- `401` — Returned if the authentication credentials are incorrect or missing.
- `403` — Returned if the user does not have the necessary permission.
- `404` — Returned if the field configuration is not found.
